Tue, April 4, 2023
6:00 PM
Denver, CO

Kristen is deeply honored to be the Spring 2023 Chester Alter Scholar at Regis University in Denver. On Tuesday, April 4th, she will deliver a keynote address followed by a panel featuring interdisciplinary perspectives on Rocky Flats. Attendees will also enjoy a special showing of the extended trailer for the in-progress documentary based on Full Body Burden.

YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS THIS. The lineup for our panel is incredible: Dr. Mark Johnson, Director of Jefferson County Public Health for 31 years; Dr. Michael E. Ketterer, currently engaged in studies of plutonium in the off-site environment at Rocky Flats; Dr. Stephanie Malin, Co-Founder and Co-Director of the Center for Environmental Justice at Colorado State University; Randy Stafford, who served on the Jefferson Parkway Advisory Committee and is deeply familiar with studies on Rocky Flats; Dr. Niels Schonbeck, professor and biochemist who studied offsite environmental contamination, soil standards for remediation of the site, and the health effects of plutonium exposure; and Tiffany Hansen, Director of Rocky Flats Downwinders, who partnered with Metropolitan State University to initiate a health study of local residents.

Free and open to the public, but you must register. A reception will follow the talk.
