Kristen has been awarded a National Endowment for the Humanities grant to support research for an upcoming biography of inventor Nikola Tesla. This project will explore Tesla's fascinating relationships with prominent Gilded Age figures including John Jacob Astor, Mark Twain, Sarah Bernhardt, and J.P. Morgan.

The NEH announced funding for 68 humanities projects nationwide, with Kristen among the recipients of this competitive grant program. As part of the Public Scholars initiative, this grant supports "well-researched books in the humanities aimed at a broad public audience."

The support from the National Endowment for the Humanities represents both a tremendous honor and a significant vote of confidence in this project's potential to bring Tesla's remarkable story—and the rich tapestry of his era—to a wider audience.
